Gear housing aluminum anode to fit most Mercury, Mariner, Force, Honda 35 hp and up and Mercruiser. Used in freshwater and saltwater to protect engine against galvanic corrosion. Used as an alternative to #31640 anode where extra clearance is required for high rake propellers. Replace OEM parts #46399A 1, 822777A 1 & 822777Q 1
