clearance: blind rivets have no side clearance restrictions associated with the sockets and wrenches used with hex head screws. they fasten joints without any access needed to thereverse side of the material. as a result, they can be placed closer together, and used in applications where associated side clearance would make any other fastener impractical. our blind rivets are also available with a countersunk and large flange head for flush mounted applications
